FACES OF 2006

This was a personal project, inspired by my daughter, her friends and their experiences in their waning days of high school. Their enthusiasm, anticipation, trepidation and farewells reference that time and space between high school graduation and the future, between imagination and dreams. The images are personal portraits, yet collectively they speak to universal themes and ceremonial passages, new beginnings, familiar journeys with individual paths, baggage both packed and left behind.
